Philippines One Minutes Workshop – Manila
In collaboration with One minutes and Unicef

the workshop, held in Manila, brought children from all over the Philippines. The kids were selected by the Probe Foundation, UNICEF and Plan International. The participants were all involved in the Kabatan News Network, a youth reporter program that has bureaus in most provinces of the Philippines and airs on a network in the country.
After much fanfare, the films were played in a final screening at the Regalia Suites Hotel. The participants had prepared an intricate post-screening presentation for the facilitators that involved skits, musical performances and dancing. The facilitators were invited to learn Filipino dance steps and to eat the much-talked-about balut (a Filipino delicacy: boiled egg with duck embryo inside).
